Model Career Center

The employment service of the state is being expanded in the form of career service. Under which the district employment and self-employment guidance centers of the state are to be converted into career centres.7 district employment and self-employment guidance centers of the state namely Durg, Bilaspur, Jagdalpur, Ambikapur, Raipur, Raigarh and Kanker have been upgraded as model career centres. 5 District Employment and Self-Employment Guidance Centers namely Rajnandgaon, Kondagaon, Janjgir-Champa, Dhamtari and Korba respectively are being developed as model career centres. Under which the office is emphasizing on the use of latest information technology for providing career guidance and latest employment related information to the applicants seeking employment. Under this, a database of employment seekers and employers will be prepared and its use through the career center will be useful for both employment seekers and employers.

Under which, through the nationally developed web portal, ncs.gov.in job seekers will get the latest employment related information and career guidance and the most qualified applicants will be available to the employers against their vacancies.Using this portal, multinational companies, industries and other institutions will provide employment opportunities to the youth registered in this portal. To avail its benefits, it is necessary for the educated youth to visit the website of National Career Service (NCS) ncs.gov.in It is mandatory to register.
